How do you get a character out of your head? I mean seriously, how do you get a character out of the imagination and onto paper? I have a wonderful character in my head that I've been wrestling with for the past 3 months but I can't figure out what her story is. I know her name, her favorite type of music and what she orders at a bloody Chinese restaurant (Orange Chicken with an Egg-roll on the side FYI). I know where she works what her bedroom looks like and even her best friend's middle name but I don't know why I know this. I CAN'T figure out why I have her in my head and it's frustrating to say the least. Very slowly I'm peeling away at her but so far nothing of importance has come of it. It's so infuriating.
Is she destined to stay in my head or will I one day learn Stephanie's purpose?
